Local Veg Box Scheme

The Community Fruit and Veg Projects Local Veg Box scheme runs every Friday. You can collect your box from Britannia Enterprise Centre or one of our other collection points around Hastings and Rother. We can also set up a new collection point if there are five or more boxes ordered in a particular location. If you have any friends or colleagues who would like a box please let us know.

We currently offer two main types of Veg Box;

one which contains local and seasonal vegetables
one that contains local and seasonal vegetables and imported fruit

The price of the Veg box is £7.50 and the Fruit & Veg one is £8.50

The standard Veg Box includes a selection of produce sourced whenever possible from farms in East Sussex and Kent. It always contains potatoes as well as a variety of other seasonal vegetables. The box also includes a small amount of locally grown fruit if it is available
The veg box usually includes eight or more types of vegetable and one or two varieties of fruit. Naturally there will be seasonal variations to the contents.

You can also buy from us a box with imported fruit and vegetables. This will include potatoes, and four or five other varieties of vegetables and approximately four different types of fruit. This product is also affected by seasonal variations.
